Multiphase queuing system with blocking and single common orbit retrial queue with limited buffer

We consider multiphase queuing systems of multiple blocking queues connected in linear topology and a common retrial queue with limited buffer for other queues in system. This kind of queuing systems can serve as model for wireless networks of asymmetric nodes, where a node with weak processing power or malfunctioned node can act as temporary waiting place for burst traffic. An analytical model of the system is investigated and from it performance measures are derived. Comparison of numerical results from analytical model with simulation model are also performed.
