Problems of a computer network risk management are often reduce to choosing the optimal set of countermeasures. The possibility of the network topology modification is usually not considered when solving such a problems. At the same time, the topology rebuilding is a natural process for some classes of networks (in particular, wireless mesh networks). This study considers the problem of designing the risk-minimizing computer network topology. The proposed solution is based on the results previously obtained in the research of the influence of the complex systems structure on their integral risk. The paper considers a particular case of the exact solution of the problem for a peer-to-peer distributed network of the "bus" topology. Also it proposes an algorithm for designing a risk-minimizing topology under attack scenarios of a simple chain structure.
